Before we clean a printhead, we first need to determine whether it is actually suitable for recovery. Some printheads arrive with dried ink, electrical failure, damaged nozzle plates or internal blockages that make cleaning uneconomical.

This service covers a professional assessment of your printhead and includes:

• Electrical integrity check
• Nozzle plate condition check
• Ink path / flow assessment
• Recovery suitability recommendation
• Written condition report

Purchase this assessment before sending your printhead to us.

If your printhead is suitable for cleaning, the $120 assessment fee is credited toward the full printhead cleaning service.

If your printhead is not salvageable, we will provide a clear report explaining the result and recommend the best next step.

The assessment fee may also be credited toward a replacement printhead purchased from DTGtech within 30 days.
